16 August 18 - PIPA Testing Day

PIPA testing time!

We may not be able to offer our normal level of customer service with regards to Emails and phone calls tomorrow as many of our inflatables are having their annual test. Inflatable testing is fairly similar to taking your car for an MOT. The inflatable is checked and tested to make sure it conforms with BS EN 14960:2013 standard.

We have a competent person defined as one who has passed a specialised examination and is registered with the Register of Play Inspectors International (RIB) check our inflatables and where the inflatable is covered under the PIPA scheme we have it registered with PIPA. The PIPA scheme help us meet our obligations under Health and Safety legislation, The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and subsequent regulations require all inflatable play equipment to be tested at yearly intervals by a competent person.

We put our customers safety first so when booking an inflatable you can always request a copy of the inflatables most recent test certificate. Cheap is not always the best option especially when your considering safety! Always ask your inflatable company that you choose to provide you with a valid test certificate,

Most venues also require inflatable companies to have valid public liability insurance to be aloud to set up on their premises. We have £5 million public liability insurance and are always happy to supply this to your chosen venue after you have booked.
