Negative Reviews
At the expense of possibly getting a few negative reviews PJ Leisure had to cancel our outdoor bookings this weekend 9th & 10th March. This decision was not taken lightly as we don't like letting our customers down nor do we like loosing money.
But we can not risk children getting hurt or injured on a Bouncy Castle due to inclement weather such as strong gusts of wind, heavy rain and hail stone. Under Health and safety Inflatables can not and should not be set up in weather where the winds will exceed 19 mph any reputable Bouncy Castle Company would abide by these rules. These rules were introduced for the safety of members of the public.
The extreme weather conditions are covered in our T&Cs page, but like myself most people don't read these terms and conditions when purchasing a product, but of course they are there to protect the seller. Every customer has to tick the box to say they have read our terms & conditions before the booking is confirmed.
All of our customers this weekend have been really understanding this weekend and in fact we have since received some positive feedback regarding our stance on health and safety, lets just hope the weather improves over the next few days and everybody can have a happy Bouncy Castle Party without the worry of bad weather.
This only applies to outdoor bookings when the HSE regulations BSEN : 14960:2013 are deemed necessary to be applied, all indoor bookings are not affected and you can easily book an indoor bouncy castle by first looking at our Local Venues page for venues in Manchester, Salford, Stretford and many other Manchester towns and then booking one of our Child Bouncy Castles
Many thanks to all our understanding customers this weekend and we hope to see you all again later this summer.
