22 April 18 - How to make a Bouncy Castle

My last blog we spoke about PJ Leisure using the same company to purchase our Bouncy Castles from for the last 21 years. You don't have to take my word for it as the BBC went to the very same company to produce a short video explaining how to make a Bouncy Castle.

The program was aired during April and shown on CBeebies. During the short seven minute video it shows the different main sections of a Bouncy Castle, such as the A frame, the steps, the bed, the walls and the inflation tube, how much PVC material is required, approximately sixty six meters, how the material is cut to size using a computerized cutting machine, how the fifty different sections are then sewn together using a industrial sewing machine and how the castles are hand painted for the particular theme to which they are made too.

Each unit uses high grade material, comes complete with sewn in rain cover, six anchor points and an inflation tube all of which have to be produced to the current Health and safety requirements, PIPA standard and current British Standard requirements.
