19th July 2015 Congratulations are in order for the RM Rovers team after yesterdays fantastic 3 - 2 victory over the All Stars team, with goals from Sean Smith, Adam Guy and Dave Fash.
The 2 for the All Stars came from Ryan Thomas and Maziar Ajtar. On top of this great win we also raised £2027.60 for the 3 charities.
Feeling very proud of the RM Rovers team a big well done to each and everyone of you!

18th July 2015 Less than 5 weeks until the big fundraising match against the All Stars team. I hope we'll have your support on the day as we're raising money for 3 fantastic local causes...
The Joining Jack charity funds and promotes research into the study and cure of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Jack is a seven year old from Wigan, who was diagnosed with the incurable disease in 2011. By the age of 8 to 11, most children diagnosed with the disease are confined to a wheelchair. Sadly, life expectancy is drastically shortened.
The Christie Proton Beam Therapy appeal needs to raise £5.6 million to develop a dedicated research space within the new Proton Beam Therapy Center. The cost of the research space falls outside Department of Health funding. The new Proton Beam Therapy center will mean that children will no longer have to travel to America for treatment.
Guys appeal - Guy Ryan is a very brave 6yr old boy from Astley who has been battling a brain tumor since he was 1 year old. He has undergone major surgery several times and 2 long cycles of chemotherapy. He will soon be travelling to America for Proton Beam therapy. We are trying to raise the funds to allow his family to be with him for the 9 weeks that he will be in America.
The organizers are in desperate need of raffle prizes for the day. Do you work for a company who may want to donate or maybe own a company yourself? I'm looking for anyone who can help/donate a prize no matter how big or small, all donations are massively appreciated.

Zorb football 3.45 pm - 4.45 pm. 10 minute slots of crazy football
4.45 pm we have the fabulous Scott Westwood performing
5.30 pm wait for it... The Inner Light will be on stage
Followed by amazing guest DJs Adam Guy and Dave Fash
